5D student, Cheuk Chung Ying
Good morning Principal, teachers and fellow students,
My name is Rainy and I’m from Form 5D. Today is English Speaking Day and I would like to share my school life with you. I think it is important to make our school life interesting so that we can feel enjoyable.
Generally
speaking, my school life is a happy one.
I like learning English and I always practise my spoken English with our
NET teachers, Mr Sheedy and Mr Murphy. I
also like to watch YouTube videos so as to practise my listening skills.
Apart from normal
lessons, I joined the v-net so as to offer help to the people in need.
In our v-net
meetings, I learned a lot including teamwork and communication skills.
Besides, I also
joined the Dragon Boat Team and the Dancing Club. Both of them help me train my fitness and
learn new things. More importantly, I
can broaden my mind and strengthen my team spirit.
If you want to
make your school life interesting and enjoyable, there are some ways to do.
Firstly, you can
join different kinds of extra-curricular activities like Boy Scout, Girl Guide,
Gardening Club, Guitar Club or Dancing Club.
You can also join some Sports Teams like Basketball Team, Football Team
or Volleyball Team.
Secondly, if you
want to learn new things, you can join the after-school interest classes. In this way, you can learn something you like
and make more friends.
My dear
schoolmates. If you can take my advice, I’m
sure you can make you school life interesting.
Try to enjoy your school life.
